Firstly, thank you for choosing us, The Sweet Treat Company to buy your sweets and treats online. We are sure that, once received your order will add a little sparkle to your life! Please take a moment to have a look at the following terms and conditions on the sale to ensure that you are happy with the service that we provide. Please note that any person using and ordering from our site www.sweettreatco.co.uk are deemed to understand and accept our terms and conditions.

Post & Packaging
Our aim at The Sweet Treat Company is to get your sweets to your door as soon as is possible in the best manner possible. Whether it's your home, your workplace, or to somebody else as a treat or gift, be assured that we want you to receive your order in the best condition possible. All orders are sent out within 48 hours, (usually within 24 hours) of receipt by the quickest postal method of either packet post or first class and should arrive to you within 2-3 working days from date of postage. Please note –orders placed after midnight on Friday will be posted after the weekend, due to postal services not working weekends.
The Sweet Treat Company understand that deliveries of large parcels can be troublesome so we have investigated the size of the average UK letter box and have specially sourced packaging, so that where possible your sweets will be posted through your door and waiting for you when you arrive home, rather than being taken to the postal sorting office to wait for you to make a special trip to collect! Due to the varied sizes of letter box this service cannot be guaranteed. Better still have your sweets delivered to your work address - a delivery from The Sweet Treat Company will brighten any dull day at the office.
Our sweet and simple pricing policy for postage is detailed in the table below. Where items are purchased in multiple, such as Sherbet Dips of party bags, these count as one item. (note: this is when only 1 item is added to the bag before checkout)
- 1 - 3 items = £3.15
- 4 - 6 items = £5.25
- 6 -10 items = £6.15
- 11+ items = £5.50
As is clear from the table large orders are cheaper, if you choose standard delivery, so by sharing orders with friends, colleagues, members of your family or any other sweet treat fan – you get amazingly cheap delivery.
Please note that due to the circumstances out of our control The Sweet Treat Company cannot be held responsible for delays by third parties delivering our stock - but be rest assured that if you let us know we will do our utmost to sort out the problem and ensure it doesn't happen again.
Next Day Delivery
Please note that orders for next day delivery must be completed and received by us by 2p.m. the day before you want the sweets to arrive. A signature will be required at delivery address for all next day deliveries.
Delivery will be made by either Royal Mail special delivery or through our designated courier company. We have made this as simple and cost effective as possible, and prices are set as in the following table:
- Next day delivery for up to 6 items = £6.95
- Next day delivery for 7+ items = £9.95
For next day delivery please note that orders received on a Friday will be delivered on the following Monday. Should you require a delivery on a Saturday we can arrange this but there will be an additional charge. If the products are not delivered within the estimated delivery time which we quote, please contact us by telephone or email and we will try and ensure that you receive your order, as quickly as possible. Please note that while items sent by Royal Mail usually arrive within 2-3 days, Royal Mail stipulate that only items still not delivered after 15 working days are officially classified as lost. We will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on The Sweet Treat Company but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. Proof of posting is always obtained and we will assist in you making a claim for lost items.

Allergy Advice & Ingredients
All Sweet Treat Company customers should be aware that unfortunately all of the sweets offered on the website are manufactured and packaged in environments where nuts may be present and therefore The Sweet Treat Company cannot guarantee that any sweets supplied are free of nuts and nut traces. We can supply ingredients of all sweets on offer for the benefit of our customers on request at info@sweettreatco.co.uk. Please note that ingredients provided are those from manufacturers' packaging and lists, and cannot be held responsible for their content. The Sweet Treat Company reserves the right to use alternative manufacturers for all sweets on offer and therefore cannot guarantee that the ingredients listed will match exactly those sent previously. The Sweet Treat Company only sources the highest quality sweets to provide you with the best tasting treats.
Out of Stock Items
The Sweet Treat Company work with a large number of traditional UK confectionery suppliers to ensure that we can provide the quality, value and range everybody wants. There are times an item or two will be unavailable should this situation occur we will contact you to confirm when the item will be restocked and sent out /or offer a substitute for something similar.. If no similar item to the particular sweet can be found then we will contact you and ask if you would like the rest of your order dispatched and the missing item(s) sent once in stock (at no extra postage costs), or if you would like us to hold back your order until everything is ready.
The Sweet Treat Company may also choose to cancel any sale and not supply products if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its discretion. If an order is cancelled, any payment made for the products will be refunded in full. This does not affect your Statutory Rights. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Copyright and Trade Marks
The Sweet Treat Company does not give you any right or interest in any copyright or intellectual property rights in any product nor the right to copy them.
The copyright in The Sweet Treat Company and the content of all the software, web site and pages relating to The Sweet Treat Company web site is owned by, or licensed to The Sweet Treat Company ltd, unless otherwise specified and may not be used, copied or altered without our express consent.
Copyright extends to the design, look and feel of The Sweet Treat Company, all photographs on it and its marketing materials.
You may use The Sweet Treat Company for private and personal non-commercial use only - i.e. to view, copy and print portions of The Sweet Treat Company for the sole purpose of placing orders. The materials on The Sweet Treat Company may not be used for any other purpose.
The Sweet Treat Company, The Sweet Treat Company and our logos are trade names or trade marks of The Sweet Treat Company and may not be used by anyone else without our express permission and we are the owners of unregistered trade mark rights in them.
However, The Sweet Treat Company does not make any warranty or representation in respect of any other trade mark and the trade marks of the brands featured on The Sweet Treat Company belong to their respective owners.
Data Protection Policy
The Sweet Treat Company makes a commitment to protecting your privacy and promises only to use information collected about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
When you place an order, we may ask you for certain information and you may submit personal data to The Sweet Treat Company (for example your name, phone number, postal address, email address, contact and bank / credit card details). We may also record which products you are interested in and which products you purchase as well as customer traffic patterns and site use. This information will be kept securely by Google Checkout in accordance with the Google security policy and may be used to:

- provide you with an up to date, efficient, and reliable service;
- help fraud prevention i.e. we check card details with our credit agency and reserve the right to refuse orders on that basis
By making an order and submitting your data you agree to this use.
From time to time we also monitor and record telephone calls for training purposes and to improve the service to you.

Pricing Policy
Our mission at The Sweet Treat Company is to offer the high quality sweets online at a great price. Due to the nature of the raw ingredients of sweets these prices may fluctuate. This is a rare occurrence and wherever possible The Sweet Treat Company aims to keep prices to the best value possible.
The price for each product is shown on The Sweet Treat Company and includes V.A.T at 15%.
Payment can be made via debit or credit card on the website, via paypal or the payment methods below:
Cheque or Postal order
In the UK, you may pay by cheque or postal order if you wish.
Please make cheques payable to The Sweet Treat Company Limited and remember to include postage. Please also send us a note detailing your order, cheque guarantee card number, guaranteed amount, expiry date, contact details and chosen delivery address.
Copyright & Intellectual Rights
Please note that all images, intellectual property rights and content of these pages are owned and governed by www.sweettreatco.co.uk. Unauthorized copying or replication of any part of this site will be deemed as theft and appropriate action will be taken – having spent much time creating this website, we will endeavor to protect our efforts. If you would like to use any material from this website we are happy to take enquiries and also have a dedicated press officer. Returns Policy
The Sweet Treat Company we offer a comprehensive returns policy as we want to ensure that your Sweet Treats add a little sparkle to your life and therefore in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with sweets, please follow the returns procedure below, failure to do so may result in us being unable to exchange goods or provide refunds. Please be aware that The Sweet Treat Company cannot be held responsible and hence provide refunds/exchanges on stock effected by circumstances beyond our control. This includes damage and neglect after goods are received, goods being stored in climatic conditions such as extremes of temperature that can effect some items and damage by third parties - however we will seek to get apologies and compensation. In addition please be aware that during particularly hot spells of weather goods in transit can be effected by extreme heat so please be aware items of a delicate nature such as chocolate may not always look as pictured, but they will still taste the same.
Returns Procedure
The Sweet Treat Company should be notified within 48 hours of receipt of your order of any part that is unsatisfactory at the address below or via email info@sweettreatco.co.uk. Quoting your order reference and name.
1- Once we have responded to your message goods must be returned within 7 days by recorded delivery. Note - if The Sweet Treat Company are at fault we will of course also refund your postage costs immediately.
2- Goods returned should be in their original condition and packaging in which they arrived, along with a copy of the invoice.
3- Once received items will be checked and refunds on goods and postage arranged where suitable. Due the perishable nature of goods on sale The Sweet Treat Company cannot issue refunds on simply unwanted goods. Refunds/exchanges will only be offered on items that are faulty, and were clearly so at the time at which they were dispatched. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged or refunded.

The Sweet Treat Company will only except goods for return and refund/exchange if supplied by us and will only refund the costs of fair return postage and original sale price of goods. No additional compensation will be available on goods returned other than that already stated, as The Sweet Treat Company are not responsible for any costs or losses incurred after costs of goods and returned postage.
The Sweet Treat Company always strive to be fair and just when dealing with genuine issues our customers may face.

Our website contains links to other websites which are not under the control of and are not maintained by us. These links are provided for your convenience only and we are not responsible for the content of those sites.
Except as provided above we can give no other warranties, conditions or other terms, express or implied, statutory or otherwise and all such terms are hereby excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You will be responsible for any breach of these terms by you and if you use The Sweet Treat Company in breach of these terms you will be liable to and will reimburse The Sweet Treat Company for any loss or damage caused as a result.
These terms above shall not limit any rights you might have as a consumer that may not be excluded under applicable law nor shall they exclude or limit The Sweet Treat Company's liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence nor any fraudulent representation.
The Sweet Treat Company will not be liable in any amount for failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if such failure is caused by the occurrence of any unforeseen event beyond its reasonable control including without limitation Internet outages, communications outages, fire, flood, war or act of God.
The Sweet Treat Company does not manufacture products. Where we state information as to the contents of the sweets (e.g. whether they contain sugar, gluten or gelatine) we reproduce wherever possible the information provided by the manufacturer and therefore are unable to guarantee the accuracy of this information.
These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Subject as aforesaid, to the maximum extent permitted by law, The Sweet Treat Company excludes liability for any loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising, including without limitation any direct, indirect or consequential loss whether or not such arises out of any problem you notify to The Sweet Treat Company and The Sweet Treat Company shall have no liability to pay any money by way of compensation, including without limitation all liability in relation to:
- any incorrect or inaccurate information on The Sweet Treat Company;
- any interruptions to or delays in updating The Sweet Treat Company;
- the infringement by any person of any Intellectual Property Rights of any third party caused by their use of The Sweet Treat Company or any product purchased through The Sweet Treat Company;
- any loss or damage resulting from your use or the inability to use The Sweet Treat Company web site or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control;
- any loss of profit, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong;

Use of The Sweet Treat Company and these terms are subject to the laws of England and the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
