Lollipop trees are great fun sweet decorations especially for a Willy Wonka or carnival themed birthday party. Before you start making your Sweet Treat Lollipop Trees unsure you have the following materials handy:
A plant pot or Sweet Treat Bucket A small pot of masonry paint (acrylic paint is sufficient for indoor use) Paint brushes 3-5 lollipops- depending upon lollipop size Strong sand Sherbet Crystals
To make your very own Sweet Treat Lollipop Trees follow these simple directions
Paint the flower pot in your desired colours using the masonry paint. Alternatively, use acrylic paint or old wall paint for the sake of economy Cover the whole in the bottom of the plant pot with plastic, part of an old plastic ice cream tub is ideal and secure with blue tack Fill the plant pot with sand or sherbet crystals (Sherbet is a slightly more expensive option) Place the lollipop sticks into the sand and compact until the sand is firm to the touch allowing the lollipops to stand up strongly Cover the sand with coloured sherbet for a more funky finish. You may wish to put a layer of tin foil over the sand before adding the Sherbet in case somebody tries to eat it!There you have it, your very own Sweet Treat lollipop Tree!
